DAY 1 CRACOW (lunch, dinner)
The transfer time from the airport to the Cracow city center is about 60 minutes (18 km)
Arrival at the Cracow – Balice Airport in the morning. Transfer to the hotel, check-in and time to refresh. Then a tour of Cracow City which will run along the Royal Route. We will start the tour at Wawel Hill, the location of the Cathedral with the gilded dome, and the Royal Castle under which, as legend has it, was possible to meet the Dragon of Wawel. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, a walk along GrodzkaStreet towards the Market Square. On the way you will be able to admire such monuments as St. Idzi's Church, St. Andrew'sChurch and St. Paul's and Peter's Church. After a few minutes we will reach the Market Square, where we will visit the Draper's Hall, St. Mary's Church and we will see the Town Hall Tower. Walking farther along Florianska Street we will reach the Barbican, a part of the northernmost municipal fortifications of Cracow. The tour ends at Matejko Square. Free time in the historic city, which can be spent walking around the city, buying souvenirs or taking a rest in the cafes. Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel.
DAY 2 WIELICZKA (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The transfer time from the Cracow city center to Wieliczka is about 50 minutes (13,2 km)
After breakfast a drive to the Wieliczka Salt Mine which is one of the most treasured monuments of material and spiritual culture in Poland, annually visited by over one million tourists from all over the world. It is also one of the monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the tour we will have lunch in a local restaurant and then return to the center of Cracow. Free time in the historic city, which can be spent walking around the city, buying souvenirs or taking a rest in the cafes. Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel.
DAY 3 CRACOW (breakfast, lunch)
The transfer time from the Cracow city center to the airport is about 60 minutes (18 km)
After breakfast, a check out from the rooms. Visiting the Museum of History – Basements of the Market Square, located under the eastern part of the Cracow Market Square. It is a knowledge base of Cracow's past. Next, a walk to Cracow's Kazimierz, today known mainly as the old Jewish district, which was established as an independent town by King Kazimierz Wielki in 1335 within the area of several other settlements. Lunch in a local restaurant. In this area there is the ”Jewish Quarter” where we can find numerous synagogues or Jewish cemeteries. We will also have the opportunity to walk the ‘’Schindler's List” trail, one of Cracow's tourist attractions. The city has changed a lot since when Steven Spielberg was there working on his masterpiece. After the sightseeing, a transfer to the Balice Airport two hours before planned departure.
