A town in the Swietokrzyskie voivodeship, in the Sandomierz district, located on the Vistula, on seven hills (hence the town sometimes called "Little Rome"). There are several hiking trails to visit. The population of Sandomierz is 24,124 and the area is 28,69 square kilometers.
