TORUN
The city with the district rights in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province. The right-bank part of the city lies in Pomerania, the left bank in Kuyavia. The city lies on the Vistula and Drweca rivers. It is one of the oldest cities in Poland. It is known as the birthplace of a great astronomer who has made groundbreaking discoveries, namely Nicolaus Copernicus. The area of the city is 115.72 square kilometers and the population is 202 591 people.
